Right-click on the "Internet Explorer" icon on your desktop.  (Blue letter "e")

Click on the "Properties" option on the resulting pop-up window.

You will now see this window:

• Clear historical site references by clicking on the Clear History button.

• Clear any previous files and pictures from you PC by clicking the Delete Files button.

Setting Up The Proxy Server For Internet Explorer 5.0
This step is required.  Our Filtering works through your proxy server settings.

Click on the "Connections" tab at the top of the window.

Click once on "FamilySmart Internet Services" or whatever dialer you intend to use to access our service
 in the "Dial-up Settings" box to highlight it then Click on the "Settings" button to the right side of the box.

This window will appear: 

Click the white box next to "Use a Proxy Server" to place a check mark in it.

The Address to be used is: proxy.actlink.net

The Port is: 80

After entering these setting, you can close the window - Click OK.

In the fields under "Dial-up Settings", you will want to enter your  "User Name" and "Password" if they are not already there.

Click on "OK".

You now return to the "Internet Properties" window.

Click on "OK".

You're Finished Now.
