Up Your Automatic Dialer to Dial ACTLink/FamilySmart |
| 1. |
Right-click
on the ACTLink/FamilSmart icon or double-click on the IE icon. |

Click
on the “Properties” option. |

Next
to the “Phone Number” box, click
“Phone Number Button”. |
| 4. |
Set
the “Service Type” to “Modem”. |
| 5. |
From
the “State or Province” menu, select the area you live in. |
| 6. |
Select
the access number closest to you from that list. |
| 7. |
Click
“OK” to accept your choice. |
| 8. |
Repeat
this process for a backup number. |
| 9. |
Click
“Dialing Rules” and enter any necessary data. |
| 10. |
In the “Dialing From Here”
section, you may need to change the following:
To access an outside line (If
your office uses a special code to get an outside line, enter it here.)
To
disable Call Waiting dial (select the appropriate option, usually *70)

“Connect
Using” should show your modem description.
Select your modem from the pull-down menu if it doesn’t. Click on
“OK”. |

Click
on “Connect” to test your dial-out capability. |
